YAMATO Corporation has, for the third time, pledged its support for the ATMOsphere Asia conference on natural refrigerant technology & innovation as a Silver Sponsor. The conference will be held on 9 & 10 February in Tokyo, Japan.YAMATO Co. Ltd. is an engineering company specializing in planning, designing, installation and maintenance for freeze and refrigeration facilities and HVAC. For these two areas, YAMATO Co. Ltd. originally developed a thermal storage system, accumulating thermal energy during nighttime for daytime loads, to achieve daytime electricity saving. The patented Ultra Eco-Ice System (UEI) is adapted by customers in Japan where it helps reduce daytime electric power demand significantly, improve energy efficiency and reduce running cost.
The UEI system introduces brine on the secondary side and, in this way, significantly reduces HFC refrigerant charge and its leakage. By using this UEI system, YAMATO Co. Ltd. also developed an HFC-free system that does not require replacement of the existing HFC showcases for new CO2 showcases by deploying brine as secondary refrigerant. YAMATO’s viable solution will help address over 50% of existing facilities in Japan that still use HCFCs but must be phased out by 2020, in order to comply with the Montreal Protocol.
About ATMOsphere Asia 2016
Returning for it's 3rd edition, ATMOsphere Asia 2016 is THE industry event bringing together HVAC&R experts from across the globe!
