Luvata, a world leader in metal fabrication, component manufacturing and related engineering and design services, has confirmed its support for ATMOsphere Europe 2015 as a Silver sponsor. Gathering leading HVAC&R industry experts to discuss the latest developments in the field on natural refrigerants, the conference will take place in Brussels on 16 & 17 March. With over 6,300 employees and 37 production facilities in 18 countries, Luvata has become a leader in providing metal solutions and engineering services to a wide range of industries from renewable energy power generation, automotive and medicine industries to industrial refrigeration and air conditioning sectors.
Luvata’s Heat Transfer Solutions (HTS) division produces finned pack heat exchangers and plays a key role in the design and production of air units for its refrigeration and air conditioning sectors. It also produces AC refilling and maintenance equipment for the automotive industry.
ECO Heat Transfer Coolers, a reference point for the NR sector
Luvata’s Heat Transfer Solutions Division offers one of the most complete product portfolios for C02 coils and coolers, which are branded as “ECO Heat Transfer Coolers”. All units are designed to accommodate the industry’s demand for flexibility, efficiency and reliability.
Luvata’s unit coolers include the CDC, CDM, CDD and CDL models. Using CO2, these products are specifically designed for all possible applications, from commercial to industrial refrigeration. Luvata evaporators have a long track record in cold rooms in Scandinavia, Denmark, UK, Switzerland, Hungary and Germany. Luvata’s KCE gas coolers have also been particularly successful in these countries where, thanks to the number of electronic fan-motor combination possibilities, they have achieved high standards in terms of performance, noise level and energy consumption. Today, more than 500 supermarkets use Luvata’s solutions.
Luvata’s commitment to developing natural refrigerant technology is further exemplified with its unit cooler models ICN (capacity from 8,11 to 314 kW) and IDN (capacity from 4,6 to 82,3 kW), which use ammonia as the refrigerant. Their stainless steel tubing guarantees excellent performance, and makes them suitable for industrial applications such as large cold rooms.
Other Luvata products also include ACR tubes for CO2 solutions in a variety of alloys such as:
- UNILLOY® - high strength ACR tube
- Herringbone Crosshatch™ (2V-XH™) - high performance tube
- UNILITE® - high performance tube with raw material cost savings
