Advansor, an expert in advanced CO2 refrigeration, freezing and air conditioning technology, has announced that it will support ATMOsphere Europe 2015 as a Gold Sponsor. The conference returns for its sixth edition on 16 – 17 March 2015 in Brussels, Belgium. With over 750 operating systems using CO2 as the refrigerant, Advansor is a leader in the development, production and sale of sustainable refrigeration and heat pump systems employing natural refrigerants. In particular, Advansor produces CO2 thermal systems for heating and cooling in supermarkets, combined heat and power plants, refrigeration and freezing facilities and the food processing industry, as well as air conditioning for office buildings. The company also offers analysis and consulting service to ensure optimal energy and cost savings.
CO2 supermarket & convenience store solutions
The Denmark-based company was established in 2006 and acquired by Hillphoenix Inc. in 2011, generating a combined figure of 600 CO2 systems in supermarkets in the US, Canada and Europe. The compSUPER CO2 supermarket refrigeration system is designed as a 1- or 2-stage system in which frost and refrigeration compressors are located in the same refrigerant circuit. Under Danish climactic conditions, energy savings of more than 20% compared to commond cascade systems have been registered. Advansor offers different types of the compSUPER concept:
- The compSUPER XXS system with condensing units is ideal for small commercial and industrial applications, for example small shops, convenience stores and petrol stations.
- The compSUPER XS ValuePack provides compact, environmentally friendly CO2 refrigeration for convenience and express stores requiring cooling and freezing at a lower investment costs.
- The compSUPER Sigma is designed for customers who need “combined energy management systems.” It includes integrated parallel compression for high energy efficiency and fulfills the store’s need for cooling, freezing, air conditioning and heating with a single system.
Advansor also offers the compBINE for combined heating and cooling production, the compHEAT, a range of high efficiency transcritical CO2 heat pumps, the compFORT, a CO2 air conditioning system with DX-evaporation, the compINDUSTRI, a range of CO2 refrigeration systems for industrial purposes in a capacity range of less than 1 MW, and the compFORT DX for air conditioning in offices, cooling of production facilities, cooling in food production and cooling of server rooms.
