René Desjardins


René holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from McGill University in Montreal. René joined Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) in 1999 as a Controls Development Engineer. He has developed various controls to manage the risks of substances declared toxic under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999. Since 2008, René is involved in the development and administration of regulatory controls for halocarbons.
