Peter Lepschat said that using ‘rules of thumb’ is no longer an efficient way to design industrial refrigeration systems. A thorough engineering design will lead to a more efficient system with a smaller ammonia charge.
A native of Oregon, Peter Lepschat has been involved with ammonia refrigeration for over 25 years. He currently serves as Corporate Manager of Engineering Services at Henningsen Cold Storage Co., where he is involved in the design and construction of new facilities as well as continuous improvement at the twelve existing HCS locations.
