ATMOsphere Europe 2012

NATURAL REFRIGERANTS - SOLUTIONS FOR EUROPE: Already for the fourth time, this international and interactive workshop on Natural Refrigerants will be organised in Brussels from Monday, 5 November to Wednesday, 7 November.

This year the emphasis will be on how natural refrigerants can solve the f-gas problem in Europe especially with the publication of the new F-Gas regulation by the European Commission: 200+ policy and industry experts will come together to discuss strategies and concepts to bring solutions for Europe and beyond and also prove the business case for natural refrigerants.

Besides enough time for networking during the 2,5 days, with a reception followed by a dinner on Monday and on Tuesday night. To make ATMOsphere Europe a truly interactive event, moderated group discussions will accompany the sessions and networking meeting rooms will be available for individual meetings. And for the first time this year, parallels session on Tuesday afternoon will entitle participants to choose the most relevant theme of discussion depending on their interest.

ATMOsphere America 2012

12 - 13 June 2012
Background: ATMOsphere America 2012 is very timely as several SNAP rulings for hydrocarbon applications have been approved just recently. In addition, the recent developments in the commercial refrigeration market in the US and Canada are expected to provide a boost for CO2 transcritical refrigeration in North America.

Main theme: THE BUSINESS CASE FOR NATURAL REFRIGERANTS IN NORTH AMERICA: 
For the first time
ATMOsphere is coming to North America. With the intention to make it THE annual meeting place for industry experts to discuss natural refrigerant trends, latest technologies and regulatory issues in the US and Canada, it is targeting around 200 decision makers from leading retailers, suppliers, associations and more. Topics for presentations and workshops will be looking at end-users (retailers and consumer brands) as well as technology providers from the commercial and industrial refrigeration, heat pump and air conditioning sectors. The second day features in addition a session on latest market trends as well as regulations, standards and training.

NATURAL REFRIGERANTS FASTER TO EUROPE: Already for the third time, this international and interactive workshop on Natural Refrigerants will be organised in Brussels from Tuesday, 11 October to Wednesday, 12 October. This year the main focus will be on Europe: 180 policy and industry experts will come together to discuss strategies and concepts to bring natural refrigerants faster to Europe and beyond and also prove the business case for natural refrigerants. The ATMOsphere Europe 2011 programme will be a unique mix of European policy sessions, including the new F-Gas regulation and Ecodesign Directive and what it means for Natural Refrigerants as well as panel debates with European end-users (e.g. retailers, consumer brands) and 12 innovative technology case studies.

HOW TO BRING NATREFs FASTER TO MARKET: ATMOsphere 2010, the International Workshop on Natural Refrigerants - will be held on 27-28 September in Brussels to help answer one simple question: HOW to bring natural refrigerants 'Faster to Market'? 150 participants, 45 moderators and 40 speakers. 15 groups in interactive workshops bringing together all main stakeholders to discuss what policy and industry can do to support the use of CO2, ammonia, and hydrocarbons as refrigerants in developed and developing countries. Two lunchtime sessions focusing on educational aspects and on India's perspective on natural refrigerants. One summary report will be handed out to UN delegations and at major trade fairs. ATMOsphere 2009

19 - 20 October 2009
TECHNOLOGY - FINANCE - POLICY: Natural Refrigerants Faster to Market. Atmosphere 2009 - the international conference on natural refrigerants to be held in the European capital Brussels on 19-20 October - will bring together industry experts, the finance community and policy makers to discuss CO2, ammonia and hydrocarbons. As a milestone on the way to Copenhagen discussions, the conference sums up the technical, political and economic challenges natural refrigerants are still facing worldwide. Atmosphere 2009 is supported by the EU-funded project NARECO2 – the first European project to share knowledge, develop an e-learning module and publish a comprehensive manual on the use of CO2.
